Originally designed by the legendary architect Frank Lloyd Wright, the TALIESIN® series presents his vision of organic architecture, where light, structure, and material exist in balance.
Inspired by the filtered light of nature, the layered wooden boxes create a distinctive interplay of light and shadow. Concealed light sources provide soft, indirect illumination while reducing glare, forming a quiet architectural presence within the space.
The TALIESIN® series was originally designed in 1933 for the Hillside Home School, where it was used in a converted gymnasium theater.
Today, YAMAGIWA manufactures and distributes the series globally, as the official licensee of the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation.
