YAMAGIWA’s exhibition stand at Maison et Objet 2024 has won a WINNER award in the prestigious “LIT Lighting Design Awards 2024,” organized by the Farmani Group based in Los Angeles, USA.

At the international interior design exhibition—Maison et Objet, YAMAGIWA showcased its own environmentally conscious exhibition space design, featuring its handcrafted lighting fixtures, created by skilled Japanese artisans. These lighting fixtures were displayed in a setting designed to enhance and celebrate the delicate quality of their illumination.

To address the temporary nature of the exhibition and minimize environmental impact, recyclable cardboard was used as the primary material. This choice enabled the creation of gracefully curved walls, with the layered cardboard reflecting light to infuse the entire space with a warm and inviting glow. The lighting fixtures themselves created a dynamic interplay of light and shadow, eliminating the need for external spotlights and delivering a sustainable yet sophisticated design solution.
